After a quick visit to the beach this weekend, it seems much has been going on in our absence.  Below are pictures of the house as it sits now in the old location.  All prep work for the move has been completed and the house is sitting on steel with porches removed.  All that remains is the actual move to the new location and some final debris cleanup after the move is completed.  It is stunning how much smaller the house looks with porches and decking removed.  The new lot has had all site work completed as well.  The picture of the new lot is at the bottom of the page. One interesting note was that the US Census Bureau had left a census package tacked to the front of the house just under the relocation permit.  I love the government.
