Below are two pictures of what remains after Hurricane Floyd tore through the coast on September 16, 1999.

Those of you who are familiar with this house will realize that the large empty spaces in the photos were once filled with sand and a large deck. There was also a bulkhead holding the tides back and the sand in. The bulkhead was ripped apart from the front so high tide now enters the downstairs on a daily basis. I will post more photos as they become available.
